Streusel Candied Yams š āØ
I made this side dish for the first time and itās way better than the usual candied yams I used to make. To be honest, I love anything with streusel topping š
and itās the perfect addition to this dish! If you prefer it to be less sweet, skip the marshmallow!

For the filling:
⢠2 lbs. sweet potatoes (mashed)
⢠1/2 cup Maikaāi organic light brown sugar
⢠1/4 cup unsalted butter
⢠1 tsp sea salt
⢠1/4 tsp cinnamon
⢠1/8 tsp nutmeg
⢠2 eggs
For the streusel topping:
⢠4 tbsp unsalted butter
⢠2/3 cup brown sugar
⢠1/2 cup flour
⢠1/4 tsp cinnamon
⢠1 cup Maikaāi pecan halves (chopped if preferred)
Ⲡpreheat oven to 350°F, mix the filling together, spread filling into the baking dish | mix streusel topping and sprinkle on top of filling | bake for 30-35 minutes
Optional: after baking, add marshmallow and broil on low for 2-3 minutes or until lightly brown.
